last year i bought called 'KA' by roberto calasso ,he is a italian writer and the book is all i need to know about the vedas.a few pages later ,i was silent and stopped talking,guess the vedas does this to you,if you have a open mind and heart.prabhu was like ,why are you not talking and why are you so silent.literally after each sentence or para there was some research to be done and automatically you start contemplating.you cannot read it like a fiction book and throw it away when done.the words and thoughts impregnated in you like needles making small and permanent impacts.so what about all those brahmins who have read the vedas,no wonder they were considered above ,but there is also a but ,if your mind is closed no matter what you read ,it is just another book .
in conclusion i stopped reading after a few pages,since my family needed a talking working parrot,until now ,i remembered ,guess it is the right time to begin again.
